This Privacy Policy applies to all applications published by TinLab on Google Play, including DailyVerse and PDF Utility Pro. Both apps are designed to process your content locally on your device wherever possible.

1 What Data We Collect

Stored locally on your device only

None of the above ever leaves your device. TinLab has no access to your journal, saved verses, or reading progress. No account or sign-in is required to use DailyVerse.

Collected automatically

DailyVerse uses Google Firebase as the backend for its AI feature. Firebase may collect anonymised diagnostic data (device type, OS version) as part of its standard SDK behaviour.

2 AI Features — Lord's Light

Lord's Light is an AI-powered conversation feature that lets you ask questions about Bible verses and receive reflections. It is powered by Google Gemini AI via Firebase AI.

When you send a message in Lord's Light, the text of that message is transmitted to Google's Gemini API over an encrypted connection for processing. TinLab does not store, log, or access the content of your messages.

⚠️ Please do not share sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information through Lord's Light.

Google's handling of AI input data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Terms of Service.

3 Third-Party Services

DailyVerse uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Firebase — AI functionality (Gemini), diagnostics — Privacy Policy
  • Google Play Services — app distribution & updates — Privacy Policy

DailyVerse does not integrate any advertising SDKs, social media trackers, or analytics platforms beyond those listed above.

4 What We Never Collect or Sell

  • Your name, email address, or any personal identifier
  • Your device location
  • Your journal entries, notes, or saved verses
  • Browsing history or behaviour across other apps
  • Financial or payment information

We do not sell your data to any third party. Ever.

5 Children's Privacy

DailyVerse is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through Lord's Light, please contact us and we will take prompt action.

6 Security

All content stored by DailyVerse lives only on your device. We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with a screen lock.

Messages sent to the Gemini AI service are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

7 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of DailyVerse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1 Overview

PDF Utility Pro is developed and operated by TinLab. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

The App is designed to process your PDF files locally on your device. Your documents are never uploaded to our servers. All PDF operations — unlock, compress, merge, split, watermark, sign, and convert — happen entirely on-device.

2 Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • PDF files you open or import into the App (processed locally, not stored on our servers)
  • Passwords you enter for password-protected PDFs (stored encrypted on your device only)
  • Signatures you create within the App (stored locally on your device)

Information collected automatically:

  • Purchase & subscription data — processed via RevenueCat. Includes your subscription status, purchase history, and a RevenueCat-assigned user ID. RevenueCat may also collect device identifiers for fraud prevention.
  • Crash reports & diagnostics — collected via Google Firebase to help us identify and fix bugs. Includes device type, OS version, and crash stack traces. No personal content is included.
  • App security verification — Google Firebase App Check verifies that requests come from genuine instances of the App. No personal data is collected in this process.
  • Recent files history — file names and paths of recently opened PDFs are stored locally on your device in an encrypted database to power the history feature. This data never leaves your device.

3 AI Features (Ask PDF & PDF Summary)

The App includes AI-powered features — Ask PDF and PDF Summary — powered by Google Gemini AI via Firebase AI.

When you use these features, the text content extracted from your PDF is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to generate a response or summary. Please do not use these features with documents containing sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information.

Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Firebase Terms of Service. TinLab does not store, log, or access the content sent to or returned by the AI service.

4 Google Drive Integration

If you choose to use the Google Drive feature, the App will request permission to access your Google Drive. This access is used solely to open PDF files you select or save processed files back to your Drive.

  • We only access files you explicitly select.
  • We do not scan, index, or store your Drive content.
  • You can revoke Drive access at any time via your Google Account settings.

5 Biometric Authentication

The App offers optional biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) to protect access to locked PDFs or the App itself. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's operating system and secure enclave — TinLab never has access to your biometric data at any point.

6 Subscriptions & Payments

PDF Utility Pro offers optional paid subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) that unlock Pro features. All payment processing is handled by:

  • Google Play Billing — your payment details are processed by Google. TinLab does not receive or store your payment card information.
  • RevenueCat — manages subscription state, purchase verification, and entitlement tracking. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous user ID and may collect device identifiers. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

8 Permissions We Request

  • Storage / Files To read PDF files you select and save processed output files.
  • Biometrics Optional — for authentication features.
  • Internet Required for AI features, subscription verification, crash reporting, and Google Drive.
  • Notifications To notify you when a long-running batch operation (e.g., batch unlock) completes.
  • Camera Only if you use the signature feature and choose to capture a photo for your signature.

9 Data Retention & Deletion

Most data the App uses is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.

For data held by third-party services (RevenueCat, Firebase), please refer to their respective privacy policies and data deletion procedures. To request deletion of any RevenueCat data associated with your device, contact us at the email below.

10 Children's Privacy

PDF Utility Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

11 Your Rights (UK & GDPR)

As a user in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold:

Access Request a copy of your personal data.
Rectification Request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Restriction Request that we limit how we process your data.
Portability Request your data in a portable format.
Objection Object to our processing of your personal data.
